A plate carrier is a very personal piece of equipment that you will spend a lot of time in; it must be comfortable for shooting, running, and simply standing on duty for long periods. It can be worn over a T-shirt or a thick winter jacket. That is why the plate carrier size is universal from M to XXL.
In terms of height, you can easily adjust it by tightening or slightly lowering the shoulder straps. Our plate carrier will fit people from 160 cm tall up to those who are 2 meters (and maybe even taller, we just haven't tested). And chest/waist sizes from 90 to 130 cm (+- 5 cm).
Volume is provided by the cummerbunds (side pockets) of the plate carrier. They come in the size 32 by 16 cm.
Our logic is simple: when it comes to protection, go maximum. The cummerbunds are equipped with special pockets for ballistic fragment protection 1st and 2nd class sized 27.5 x 12 cm and 30 x 15 cm.
*Sets with 1st-class protection are lighter, while 2nd-class sets are stronger, so keep this in mind when choosing.
IMPORTANT.
The plate carrier is designed for standard armor plate size - 25 x 30 cm, but if you need a plate carrier for larger armor plates, we have available a plate carrier for 27 x 33 cm armor plates .
Let's break down a bit more why our plate carrier is so great:
- Convenient and durable pull handles - the quick-release is one of the main elements of a modern plate carrier, so our quick-release system is equipped with comfortable and reliable pull handles that allow you to free yourself from the vest faster in emergency situations;
- Width adjustment with Velcro - you can quickly and securely fix the plate carrier to the size you need (we import the Velcro from the USA, so you can trust its reliability). Our plate carrier size is universal and will fit both compact fighters and larger guys.
- Split internal 3D mesh - you won't get hot in our plate carrier because we've split the internal 3D mesh, adding space for air circulation. By the way, under the 3D mesh there is a protective cushioning damper which, when hit by a bullet, disperses most of the shock wave.
- Additional PALS straps (MOLLE attachment system) and a Velcro panel on the shoulders. For securing tourniquets, radios and other additional shoulder pouches.
*There is also a retainer on the shoulders for a hydration tube
- Additional securing of armor plates in the middle with a 9 cm Velcro strap so your plates won't fall out.
- Covered with PALS webbing (MOLLE attachment system) over the entire surface (color-matched to the plate carrier).
- Water-resistant front pocket for personal items.
