Quality tactical men's peacoat in Multicam color with Omni-Heat lining.
The outer material of the jacket is Taslan DK - a modern nylon fabric with an unusual fiber weaving structure and a porous water-repellent coating on the inside. The membrane fabric has water-repellent and vapor-permeable properties. These properties of the fabric are due to its microporous membrane structure. The micropores are so small that they can only allow water molecules, that is, water vapor, to pass through, not water droplets. Therefore, the membrane fabric excellently repels liquid (dirt) from the surface of the fabric without absorbing it, and releases body vapor (steam, sweat) outside.
The membrane fabrics prevent wind penetration, meaning they are completely windproof. This property reduces heat loss from under the clothing and partially creates a barrier against external high-temperature exposure.
The jacket lining is made using Columbia Omni-Heat technology, as well as fleece. Omni-Heat returns the body’s own heat by reflecting it with silver dots. Thus, more heat is retained than when using regular insulation. The sleeves use lining fabric, while the hood is made of 130 g/m fleece.
This model of the jacket has 5 functional pockets (2 main, 1 on each sleeve, 1 inner). The sleeves have elastic and are adjustable with Velcro. The main zipper (covered with an additional flap for wind protection) and the zippers on the pockets (except for the inner one) are equipped with pullers.
There are Velcro panels for patches on both sleeves (1 each) and the front (3 total) of the peacoat.
